Here at Forsoul we try our best to tread lightly on our Earth.
Whilst we understand that huge changes need to be made for our planet’s future, we also believe in supporting the small steps toward bigger change.
Every conscious action made is one that makes our soul’s happy.
These small steps are perfect for beginners who have heard a lot in the news about the dangers our planet is facing, but are feeling a little overwhelmed of where to start.
Not to worry, we have you covered!

1. BUY A KEEPCUP
Ditch the one-use cups and get yourself a fun + funky reusable cup.
This is probably one of the best ways to reduce unnecessary waste, especially if you are a coffee lover.

 2. SHOP AT ZERO WASTE
Try and shop your groceries at zero waste stores, so that you only shop what you need.
On top of this, you can bring your own jars to fill instead of buying products pre-packaged in plastic.

3. REUSABLE SHOPPING BAGS
When making purchases, always bring your own reusable shopping bags.
In the beginning it can be a little tricky to remember them every time you shoot down to do groceries, so always keep some in the boot of your car.

4. REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE
This is such an easy swap that can not only help the environment, but also save you money.
We also find that having a water bottle on hand helps remind us to drink more water!

5. DINE IN
If you have the time, try and dine in versus take out.
Not only does it help you take a moment to slow down, but it also reduces any unnecessary packaging.

6. STORE LEFTOVERS IN GLASS JARS
Try and ditch cling wrap for a whole month and instead, store any leftovers or food in reusable glass jars.
You can get some from your local dollar store or reuse old pasta jars.

7. SWITCH TO A SOAP BAR
Ditch the large plastic body wash bottle for an old school soap bar.
It may be weird at first, but soap bars are cheaper and plastic free!

8. CARRY A CUTLERY SET
Try and carry a cutlery set on you so that you can happily turn down plastic cutlery that is offered to you.
This is super handy at festivals, when travelling or on the run.
